As a Talent Acquisition & Engagement Specialist, you will be instrumental in building our Belfast office's culture and driving our recruitment efforts. Your role will encompass identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent, particularly for technical roles, to support our rapid growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging environment for our existing employees, driving initiatives that enhance team morale and strengthen our company culture. Leveraging your knowledge of the local community and recruitment landscape, you will build a strong pipeline of candidates and create a thriving workplace for our team.

About Us: Recently ranked #259 on the Inc 5000 fastest growing companies in the United States, Biller Genie is an award-winning B2B SaaS platform that is entering the Belfast market with ambitious plans to scale our team rapidly, with over 100 hires planned through 2026.  We are seeking an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist who can work closely with our Site Lead to quickly and effectively grow our team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Site Lead to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet staffing goals and foster a positive office culture.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and contribute onboarding new hires into our company culture.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and local networks, to identify and attract high-quality candidates for technical roles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment on candidate profiles and expectations.
  • Promote Biller Genie’s employer brand in the Belfast market, showcasing our culture and the benefits of joining our team both to potential candidates and existing employees.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive hiring practices in the Belfast area.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and offering timely feedback throughout the recruitment process.
  • Organise and facilitate employee engagement activities and events to build team cohesion and celebrate successes, developing metrics to measure employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven improvements.
Essential Criteria:
  • Third-level qualification (Preferably in Human Resources/ Business Administration or a demonstrably related field) or equivalent relevant commercial experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record for successfully recruiting for technical roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Strong knowledge of the Belfast job market and local community, with established networks to leverage for recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates, hiring managers and employees at all levels.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR information Systems (HRIS) and other recruitment tools to manage the hiring process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
