We are seeking a seasoned and execution-focused Director of Payment Partner Sales to drive growth and operational excellence across our payment partner ecosystem. In this high-impact role, you will lead and manage a growing team responsible for partner onboarding, success, support, and channel sales execution. Working alongside our leadership team—especially in support of our Head of Sales—you will transform strategic vision into tangible results, streamline partner operations, and scale revenue through optimized partner relationships. Priority Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of the payment partner channel, including onboarding, enablement, support, and success functions.
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on revenue generation and partner satisfaction.
- Increase sales and revenue from existing and new channel partners through active coaching, performance management, and campaign execution.
- Commercialize relationships through outreach, co-marketing initiatives, tradeshows, and partner marketing campaigns.
- QA demos and sales calls to ensure consistent excellence in communication and delivery.
- Serve as the escalation point for partner concerns, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Create and manage structured reporting on partner performance, monthly and quarterly, to guide forecasting and planning.
- Design compensation plans and team incentives that are aligned with company-wide goals and revenue targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally as the main liaison between partners and internal departments such as Marketing, Sales, Product, and Support.
- Lead post-close management of enterprise-level partners to ensure retention and continued success.
- Analyze partner performance data to identify areas for optimization and determine which partnerships merit greater or reduced investment.
- Design and iterate on team structure, roles, and responsibilities to maximize efficiency and scalability.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts by partner and channel and present recommendations to leadership.
- 7+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or a similar leadership role within the payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS industry.
- Proven experience managing partner ecosystems and scaling high-growth teams.
- Deep knowledge of the payments industry, including experience working with processors, ISOs, VARs, and integrated software vendors (ISVs).
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS go-to-market and partner sales motions.
- Experience in designing and managing channel reporting and CRM-driven forecasting.
- Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills—able to manage up, down, and across.
- Adept at handling partner escalations and implementing process improvements.
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and a bias toward action.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA a plus).
