We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Software Operations to oversee and lead our entire Salesforce SDLC, from architecture to delivery.  This role will be pivotal in managing, mentoring, and holding team members accountable while ensuring the successful execution of software operations and delivery initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and hold the accountable teams accountable for Salesforce architecture, development and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the strategic direction and execution of software operations, ensuring best practices in development, implementation, and delivery of Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Technology and other stakeholders to define project goals, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively across both teams.
  • Ensure seamless integration between the architecture and delivery functions to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of software operations and delivery initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing actionable strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Salesforce Architect, Delivery Lead, and team members to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, encouraging their growth and success within the organization.
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, ensuring that technical writing from the development team is transformed into actionable training materials for the organization.
  • Conduct workshops with staff to gather insights on needs, suggest new features, and drive innovation that enhances user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure data hygiene and compliance within all software operations, maintaining high standards for data integrity and security.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in software operations management, with a strong background in Salesforce ecosystems and delivery methodologies.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, development practices, and delivery processes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams while holding them accountable for performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on optimizing processes and driving operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in technical writing and creating training materials is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Developer) are a plus.
